Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital Awarded Three-Year Accreditation for Excellence.
Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital – Katy recently received reaccreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International for a period of three years for its inpatient rehabilitation programs-hospital (adult). The hospital is part of the Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Network affiliated with TIRR Memorial Hermann.
The hospital received its first accreditation from CARF in 2018.
“Our entire team was committed to the process and worked diligently to achieve this accreditation despite the challenges of the pandemic,” says Rhonda Abbott, PT, Chief Executive Officer of TIRR Memorial Hermann and the Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Network. “This accreditation confirms the team’s ability to provide innovative, high quality rehabilitation care to our patients when they come to our hospital.”
This recognition, the highest level of rehabilitation facility accreditation awarded by CARF, validates that an organization has demonstrated its conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated, to a team of surveyors during a virtual visit, its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.
