This Wonder of Worlds video, sent to me from a friend in the UAE, explains the wonderful Islamic treasures of the 12 century: books and manuscripts of their scientific discoveries. Islamic scientists were at the forefront of scientific and mathematical knowledge development. They created advanced agricultural equipment, intricate locks, medical devices and more. They took their knowledge to the West to teach European civilization modern science, math and engineering. Unfortunately, this was during the crusading times, where so much was hidden away or destroyed in the era known as the dark ages. Luckily, it was not hidden forever. Davinci and Galileo took the work and brought it back out into the light. It was only centuries later that the true authors of the work was discovered. Ramadan Kareem!
