On the occasion of its first anniversary, "Khawla Art & Culture" announced the presentation of its first official exhibition to the Arab public and the world at large, which will be held at Dubai Opera during the period from September 28 to October 12, from 10 Am until 10 PM.
The exhibition will include a display of creative paintings designed by Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, wife of His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser of the United Arab Emirates.
The event, entitled 'Unity in Diversity', will feature around 50 artworks by 40 artists from all over the world, whose works include paintings, sculptures and ornamentation. It will also include a display of Quranic verses written in different types of calligraphy by artists who decorated mosques, palaces and domes.
Her Highness Sheikha Khawla bint Ahmed Khalifa Al Suwaidi's participation included artistic paintings through which Her Highness created a new Diwani calligraphy style that tends to softness and modernity to include her literary and philosophical output. She thinks and holds her clear imprint in her artwork, giving viewers the opportunity to meditate on the deep meanings inherent in the artistic use of her words, which she writes all at once, as the pen does not rise above the paper.
This distinguished event reflects the efforts of the Khawla Cultural Council, which is always keen to achieve an effective contribution to the cultural movement in the Arab world by holding multidisciplinary cultural seminars in drawing, color, calligraphy, and poetry.
So if you are a fan of culture and art, do not miss the opportunity to visit this distinguished exhibition at the Dubai Opera.
