University of Cambridge was so grateful to visit the Barjeel Art Foundation collection yesterday (featuring artists like Marwan) at the invitation of Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi. The collection is moving to its new location in Sharjah very soon and available to even larger audiences to enjoy. Dr Polly Blakesley, Cambridge Head of Art History, was very impressed by the important work collected of Modern Arab artists. Stay tuned for the opening announcements.
