U.S. News & World Report’s survey of US medical schools has awarded its top ranking in pediatric

Congratulations to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for being the number one residency program in the nation.

We are honored to have our first medical resident from the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Omar Shehab, join the pediatric medical education program in July 2018.

U.S. News & World Report’s survey of US medical schools has awarded its top ranking in pediatric medical education to the Department of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. The department shares that top ranking in a tie with Harvard University.

This marks the 15th consecutive year that the pediatric program has been ranked the first or second in the nation.

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine, remains among the nation’s best, and I congratulate the faculty and staff, for their sustained record of excellence.
