It is an honor to be back in the UAE after a long, hot summer.
I have some exciting news on some important collaborations happening this fall, thanks to many kind friends here in the UAE.
Today's News: It is an honor for (CHOP) to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the The Ministry of Health and Prevention of the United Arab Emirates (MOHAP) this week!
Thanks to the Ministry of Health, Children's Hospital doctors will immediately begin working with hospitals in the UAE to see pediatric patients in subspecialty areas. The visiting physicians will meet with clinical teams, perform clinical and inpatient consultations, collaborate on research, and share lectures with the MOHAP team.

Children's Hospital is also honored to be working towards research and educational collaborations with hospitals in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Next week, the University of Cambridge will be exploring ways to partner around an Islamic Art Initiative with the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, National Archives, Universities in the UAE, and others interested in art, manuscripts and the legacy of Arabic arts and culture.
As always, it is an honor and pleasure to see old friends and make new ones. So happy to be back!
